Alden is participating in a grant this year that allows us to use iPads for daily instruction. In what ways, if any, can we use iPads to enhance our experiences in this class?
Are you aware of any apps that might be educationally beneficial? If so, please share and provide a brief explanation of the app.
I think that the iPad will make class more interesting by introducing new technology. I also think that it will make it easier to pay attention to the task at hand by the fact that it is simply fun just to type on the iPad.
ReplyDeleteThis is one of the first times I'm using these new ipads so i don't know any specific apps. I've watched other people use them and they mostly play angry birds which looks fun to play but I don't think it's educationally beneficial.

ReplyDeleteI believe that we could use the ipads to enhance our experiences in this class the same ways as if we had a regular laptop because it is basically the same thing.
ReplyDeleteWe can use these ipads to enhance our classroom experiences because they make the classroom more entertaining. We can use them for everything when the laptops aren't available. There are tons of apps that can be beneficial we can use speak it for a fun class presentation.
ReplyDeleteIPads can be used for classroom instruction through lessons that require quick Internet access and collaborative learning. This way of learning helps spelling skills because public views of posts. It also makes me more careful with the letters in each word because I have to consciously choose each letter. With the drawing apps math can be more easily learned through a similar effect as a whiteboard.
ReplyDeleteWe can enhance our experiences in this class by using the ipads because we get to use new technology. We get to experiment with technology that we may not otherwise get the chance to use besides in this class. I think it will be an interesting way to learn and interact educationally with our peers and teachers. I do not know of any apps that could be useful to this class.
ReplyDeleteWe can use the ipads to enhance our learning experience by using lots of great apps that allow us to expand our knowledge of english. A good app would be an English writing app.

ReplyDeleteIt makes class more interesting but I don't see any apps that would make class more educational. However, the battery life is much better than for the laptops so that's a plus.
